Kendrick Lamar was announced today to headline the 2023 edition of Osheaga Festival in Montreal, which returns from August 4-6.
The other two headliners for the 16th Osheaga are Australian group Rufus Du Soul and American star Billie Eilish.
Rüfüs Du Sol will close the first day of the festival on Friday, August 4, while Eilish will headline on Saturday night. Kendrick Lamar closed out the festival on Sunday.
Kendrick Lamar skipped Montreal on his Big Steppers tour, so Montreal fans will be relieved by this announcement. He was the headliner in Osheaga.
This is the second time in just over a year that Rüfüs Du Sol has performed in Montreal. Billie Eilish had a show at the Corona Theater in 2018 and Place Belle in 2019, so Montreal is no stranger.
The full line-up has not yet been revealed, but will likely be announced in the spring. Osheaga will be held from August 4th to 6th, 2023 at Jean-Drapeau Park.
