Here's a list of concerts coming to Wrigley Field in 2024

Amidst the impending spring, the Chicago Cubs are poised to make a triumphant return to the venerable Wrigley Field. However, in an intriguing convergence, a cadre of musical ensembles is set to grace the same hallowed grounds for a series of captivating concerts during the summer months.

The inaugural spectacle, scheduled for the 15th of July, shall witness the collaborative prowess of Def Leppard and Journey, sharing the limelight in a co-headlined performance at the Friendly Confines.

Def Leppard, renowned for their anthem “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” last unveiled a musical opus in 2022, entitled “Diamond Star Halos,” which ascended to the impressive No. 10 position on the U.S. charts.

In parallel, Journey presented “Freedom” to the auditory realm in the same year. The band boasts a storied history of chart-topping singles such as “Wheel in the Sky,” “Any Way You Want It,” and the iconic “Don’t Stop Believin’,” the latter achieving an illustrious 18-times platinum status on digital streaming platforms.

Augmenting this musical soiree, The Steve Miller Band is poised to complement the aforementioned acts, with tickets presently available for acquisition through the Cubs’ official website.

In the later echelons of the season, Green Day will usher in The Saviors Tour to Wrigley Field on the 13th of August. This auditory experience not only commemorates the release of their latest album, “Saviors,” but also pays homage to the 30th anniversary of their breakthrough “Dookie” and the 20th anniversary of “American Idiot.” The band intends to regale audiences by performing both seminal albums in their entirety each night.

Further enhancing the sonic panorama, The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Lindas are set to join Green Day, as divulged on their official website.

Country luminary Luke Bryan, a paragon of the “Mind of a Country Boy” ethos, is slated to headline a Wrigley Field extravaganza on the 25th of August, marking a pivotal juncture in his eponymous tour. Collaborators Bailey Zimmerman, Tracy Lawrence, and Chayce Beckham will also grace the stage alongside Bryan, who is rumored to be in the throes of releasing a new musical offering prior to the tour’s commencement. Bryan, distinguished by his role as a discerning judge on ABC’s “American Idol” and a recipient of myriad accolades, including the 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards’ Entertainer of the Year, continues to captivate audiences.

Tickets for this resonant spectacle are slated for release on Friday at the stroke of 10 a.m.
